Shan Vincent de Paul is a Toronto-based Tamil-Canadian rapper, singer, and filmmaker known for his unique blend of music that fuses hip-hop with Tamil cultural elements. Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, and raised in Canada, Shan's work reflects his multicultural background, addressing themes of identity, diaspora, and social issues. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil music scene and has gained international recognition for his contributions to Tamil hip-hop. Shan is also a member of the Toronto-based artist collective Future Brown and the Tamil indie music label maajja, co-founded by Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
